2019 Finalists publish proposals in Journal of Emerging Investigators
If you know Genes in Space, you know that each year, just one winning experiment — out of the hundreds of proposals we receive — is carried out aboard the ISS. While all Finalists present their ideas at the ISS Research & Development conference, only the winning team shares the details of their experiment broadly as they prepare for launch. That is — until now.
We are proud to partner with the Journal of Emerging Investigators (JEI) to share proposals from our 2019 Finalist teams. JEI is a peer-reviewed publication solely dedicated to publishing work from middle- and high school-aged scientists. The journal was founded to offer a platform for student scientists interested in sharing their research with the community.
JEI is publishing Finalists' proposals in hopes that the creativity and careful thought they put into this work will inspire the next generation of explorers and innovators. Head to JEI now to read our Finalists' proposals.
