Announcing the 2024 Constellation Awards!

The wait is over! After carefully reviewing 681 entries from 945 students, we're thrilled to unveil the first round of our Genes in Space 2024 awardees - our Constellation Award winners! These schools contributed the highest number of student proposals from each region of the US, and competition was fierce this year! Genes in Space reached the highest number of schools (231) and the most states (38) in our program's history! We were impressed with the breadth of topics and creative uses of the Genes in Space Toolkit from these motivated classrooms. All awardees will receive a P51 Fluorescence Biotechnology Toolkit for their schools, bringing the excitement of ISS research to your classrooms!

Don't miss it – tomorrow, we announce the Semifinalists vying for Finalist and Honorable Mention titles! The Junior Scientist Awards follow on Friday.
