Watch our 2024 Finalists' Presentations!
Our five Genes in Space Finalist teams from 2024 joined us last month in Boston for the ISS Research & Development Conference. They presented their innovative research proposals to our panel of Judges with ideas spanning a wide range of topics in biology. Their ideas ranged from phage therapy research to the development of airborne silicone sensors to using nanoparticles to combat bone density loss to the mechanics of blood clotting in microgravity and suggesting novel ways to treat brain aging in space; these bright young scientists all have bright futures ahead of them!
